The rest of our team

Daniel Ellison is our Workshop Manager. He has a wealth of experience and builds lasting relationships with customers, based on knowledge and trust. In addition to being a fully qualified motor mechanic, Daniel has received factory specialist training from a number of manufacturers. Daniel holds a refrigerant handling licence and is an approved safety certificate examiner with Queensland Transport. Daniel has received numerous awards during his time as a mechanic and makes the perfect mentor and manager for the rest of the crew at Alderley Automotive.

Kellie Mountney is our friendly Customer Service and Office Manager. She has extensive experience providing comprehensive sales and relationship management as well as administrative and operational support. Kellie is committed to superior customer service and she thrives on producing positive outcomes. Kellie supports the team of technicians so they can focus on getting the job done efficiently and effectively.

Mary-Ann Strelow and Ben Harris are the directors of Alderley Automotive. They provide the leadership, guidance, strategic direction and customer service expectations for the business while providing the managers the autonomy to manage the day to day operations.

The rest of our team is made up of well-trained, fully qualified and hardworking mechanics, supported by an apprentice. They have specialist training from various manufacturers and cumulative experience from working in dealerships and other workshops. They complement each other to provide a highly knowledgeable and skilled team.

Our Story

The business has been operating for more than 20 years. In 2011, it became part of the FleetCrew group of companies. As proud family owned and operated businesses, Alderley Automotive and Fleetcrew are held by the Harris and Strelow families.

After an extensive search for the right business, Alderley Automotive was the first workshop acquisition for the Harris and Strelow families. Ben and Mary-Ann had decided to leave the corporate world and begin a small business partnership focused on mechanical light vehicle maintenance and hire vehicles.

At Alderley Automotive, we have managed to strengthen our exceptional reputation over the years. Today, we stand in high regard within the local community. We’re known for our reliable service delivery, and unwavering commitment to integrity.

We support various community and charity organisations such as local schools and girl guides and individual establishments like Enoggera Bowls Club and Meals on Wheels. That’s alongside providing sporting sponsorship and supporting charity car rallies, eg. Road Boss Rally.

We are also active members of the Now Business Network which is focused on forging relationships within our local businesses whilst giving back to our community. We believe in paying it forward!

Customer Service

We recognise the power of word-of-mouth. It’s often the case that you have asked your family, friends or work contacts where the best place might be to take your car for repairs, and happily, they’ve referred you to our establishment! We are very appreciative, and we work hard each and every day to deliver excellence in customer service.

Convenience

We are conveniently located in the heart of the business precinct on Pickering Street (opposite where the old Enoggera Bowls Club used to be located). We now have a handy pedestrian traffic light right out front, making it easy to access the train station (400m) or the new cafes (50m).

We are open from 6:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. If these hours don’t suit, we have a secure after hours key drop and key safe facility. Our team can also arrange for local pick-up and drop-off, if required.

Finally, we can provide a short term loan vehicle (bookings essential and subject to availability) or a hire vehicle, at discounted rates. This is especially useful if your vehicle is expected to be off-the-road for an extended period of time.
