We are a Brake Specialist and Use Procut 9.2 Computer Matched Disc Machining.
If you suspect that your brakes are faulty or worn, then you have an issue that you can’t afford to ignore. After all, this can be the difference between life and death for you and other motorists.
To ensure the safety of you, your passengers and other road users, brakes should be inspected regularly. All components including brake pads, discs, drums, rotors, calipers and fluids should be thoroughly checked by a qualified technician. Our team at Alderley Automotive has the knowledge and experience to quickly and accurately diagnose brake faults and advise of the best course of action in their repair.
Address any existing or potential issues in your vehicle’s braking systems by taking a minute out of your day to contact our expert team.
We provide a specialist brake service utilising Procut 9.2 computer matched disc machining – the world’s best on car brake lathe. We can professionally reface the discs on your car (as long as they are within the legal minimum thickness).
Our lathe can skim all discs up to 412 mm outside diameter. If you have corroded, distorted, warped, or squealing brakes due to lips on the disc, we can reface rather than replace. This course of action can bring substantial savings by extending the life of your discs and pads.
When determining the condition of your brakes, there are certain signs to look out for which indicate that further inspection by a professional is necessary:
- The vehicle pulls left or right when braking
- You can hear and feel a grinding noise when you apply the brakes
- The brake pedal feels like it is fluttering when you apply the brakes
- The steering wheel moves and shakes when you apply the brakes
- The vehicle requires more force on the pedal to stop than normal
- The handbrake is weak or ineffective
Make sure your car has the minimum brake pad thickness to pass inspection and to keep you safely on the road. At Alderley Automotive, we complete a full brake inspection checklist to ensure the performance of your braking systems and will find effective solutions to any problem.
